New page

The old-growth woodses between ancient Odessos and Dionysopolis were first adverted by Pliny as the property or home of mythical shadows , visited by way of the Argonauts. Byzantine sources name the regional fortress Gerania; there could possibly be 4-7 century AD remains of massive stone ramparts and a basilica along the edge of the Franga plateau. The cave Aladzha Monastery, 3 km to the west, was a cloistered center from ancientness through the Second Bulgarian Imperium. In the days of Ottoman Empire, Uzunkum (Turkish: long sands) was known as a hideaway for outlaws. It was largely uninhabited until the 1950s, controlled used for excursions .
Located 17 km north of downtown Varna, it is virtually plugged into the city by a uninterrupted swath of [http://goldensandshotelsbg.com golden sands hotels] and villa communities. It is a popular tourist destination, drawing many visitors from Roumania , Polska, Federal Republic of Germany , the United Kingdom , Russia, Scandinavia, France, Central and Eastern Europe, the Persian Gulf, Israel, and other countries, attracted by the favourable climate, scenic landscape, and reasonable prices.
Varna shoppings mall are big and modern and have a good collection of modern style and dining facilities. Theres at least 2 huge ones: the Varna Mall and the Grand Mall. The grand one is n't truly big when compared to other one.
The area is labeled to have the purest quartz sand on the coast and abounds in old trees, landscaped gardens, and pedestrian malls. Golden Sands authorisations resist demands to provide more auto roads and car park , citing the resort's reputation as family friendly, green, and largely prosaic place.
