L7SW is a high-performance framework for Layer7 switching on the Linux operating system. Its implementation includes a user-space daemon and a low-level kernel-space forwarding engine. User-space daemon is responsible for scheduling and switching decisions. Kernel-space forwarding engine is responsible for forwarding stream and using TCP Splicing scheme.
