If you text him first how are you going to know if he's really interested in you or if he really likes you or not? You will not. You may be thinking you can measure if that he likes you or maybe not by his response, but that's not reliable at all. Guys will text with you and banter with you simply to keep you on the straight back burner. It doesn't mean they as if you or are into you. Some guys are just polite and are going to answer you right back.

Think back again to how it feels whenever a guy calls or texts or asks you out first. A guy that you like at that. You obtain elated, you get excited and your adrenaline starts flowing. You call up your girlfriends and let them know. In the event that you text him first, you deprive yourself of all of the good feelings. Would you call up your girlfriends all excited since you texted him first? I doubt it. The elation just isn't there. It's you trying to control the outcome of the situation. Not very attractive either to the guys by the way.
